Since leaving college I have spent my entire career in public practice. I studied and trained with Walker Hubble Chartered Accountants and qualified as a Certified Accountant in 2002.
I gained my practising certificate in May 2014 and became a partner at Walker Hubble in June 2014.
I have gained experience in preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, charities, trusts and limited companies, along with completion of my clients personal, corporation and trust tax returns. I also have over 15 years’ experience of auditing limited companies records and gained my auditing certificate in March 2015. I complete management accounts for a variety of my clients on both a monthly and quarterly basis, along with ensuring the preparation and completion of their VAT Returns. I also have experience in dealing with the payroll requirements of my clients.
My experience in business IT systems has been invaluable in the set-up of successful in-house systems for a variety of clients.
I am always keen to make sure that working for a client means exactly that – i.e. giving you or your business something of value and more than just a set of numbers. As a partner of the firm I have made it a strict policy that I will personally see every one of my clients on a regular basis.
Interests outside of work are simply football and in particular West Bromwich Albion.
I am Black Country born and bred and married with a daughter and a son.
